I struggled with English until my last semester of my senior year. It was in that semester that I had an English teacher who showed me the secret to writing, the formula, if you will.
 
I loved to read, but math and science were my strong subjects. I always felt that the ability to write was something that you just had, somehow, innately.
 
Great writers may have an innate skill, and thousands of hours of practice. However, for the vast majority of us ... YOU can be a good writer so long as you learn the SYSTEM and PRACTICE. Trust me. Learn it as a Freshman.
