Mr. Sterling at Olympia National Forest
 
As we enter the new year, classroom norms have been established and we are moving forward.  A major focus is now on following instructions, both written and verbal.  In order to succeed, students need to be aware of and able to follow step by step directions.  This is a life skill that will benefit them long after third grade.
