English is my second language: I was born and raised in the Netherlands.  I went through the naturalization process to become an American many years ago to attain the same citizenship as my 3 children.
Dear T-Wolves,
 
Welcome Back!  I hope you had a great summer! 
I visited my family in the Netherlands and in Ohio.  Topped off the summer with King Tut and the Chihuly Gardens of Glass in Seattle!  Now I am excited to get back to school!
 
I love my job and I am excited to start my 11th year in the classroom.  Prior to teaching, I held jobs as a Medical Technologist (now called Clinical Laboratory Science), as a Research Technician in the semi-conductor industry.  I have dabbled in Horticulture and, for a time, I was a Fitness Instructor.  I believe life is an adventure!
 
I look forward to getting to know students, new to my classroom.  Together, we will explore more wonders of science, and strive to find explanations for them!
