Connecting with agencies and locating community resources is also a specialty of the counselor. If you need services within the community, they can often be arranged through the counselor.During the year, our counselor offers classes during HRT in a variety of areas such as bereavement, impulse control, or anger management, depending on students' needs.

Intervention Counseling

Just like the rest of society, Legacy students and their families are impacted by problems related to substance abuse. Lance Frodsham is now Legacy High School's Intervention Specialist. He is a person to talk to about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in a safe, confidential setting. He can assist with meeting the requirements allowing students to return to school after a tobacco, alcohol or drug related suspension. He can guide students and their families with finding and accessing resources in the community. He can provide educational information on the subject individually or in classroom settings.
