PTO/HSA

Evergreen Flex Academy's HSA - PTO welcomes you! Please watch for upcoming news with information about our next meeting. Who should come? If you're a parent of an Evergreen Flex Academy student, you should come! How much does it cost to join PTO? Nothing! While most schools charge to join their PTO or PTA, we don't! Why is it important for you to attend? This is a great opportunity to give imput and ideas on which activites you'd like to see occur for the students this year. Additionally, the more people that attend, the more we are able to do. The more activities we are able to plan and implement, the better experience our children will have. How much time will it take because I'm really busy? Our meetings generally run until 4:30pm but feel free to come even if you can only stay for a little bit. About half of us will be here to pick up our children anyway, so why not stay just a little longer? I'd like to come, but I won't be able to get a sitter. Not a problem! Your children are welcome to attend the meeting as well. I'm afraid if I come I'm going to get talked in to committing myself to a year long project and I just really don't have the time. Not at all! A lot of people are concerned about that. Most PTA's or PTO's are a year long committment. However, we are set up to take all the help we can. So if you're busy in the spring but have a bit of extra time in the fall maybe you could help with one particular project. If you work but have a free hour now and then, maybe you could make phone calls for us once a month or so. Have fundraising ideas? Great...bring them to a meeting! If you want to help out only on the projects your children are interested in attending, that's great too! We completely understand how busy everyone is and really appreciate anything you would want to do. Once you see us in action, you'll know that our focus is really about the children and how we can make their Evergreen Flex Academy experience even better! Besides, it's a great place to meet new people! We're looking forward to meeting you! |
