Technology in Education (TIE)

The Technology in Education (TIE) curriculum was created in 2005 in order to ensure that middle school students in Evergreen Public Schools were receiving consistent instruction no matter what middle school they attended.

TIE Goal Statement

The TIE curriculum should provide students with:

a variety of exploratory experiences
basic keyboarding skills
introductory office application skills
connections between technology and core content subject areas
a common curricular experience across the district
the skills necessary to effectively communicate an idea, concept or story
