Noreen Norfleet has been teaching music for 11 years and is an accomplished educator and musician. She currently teaches band at Frontier, Image, Pioneer, Sifton and York Elementary Schools. Prior to teaching at Frontier she was the band director at Parrish Middle School (Salem, OR) and Pacific Middle School. She has also worked with a number of outstanding music programs in the region as a music consultant and coach, including two-time national grammy program Sprague High School, South Salem High School, the Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps (Seattle, WA) and the Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (Portland, OR). Noreen received Bachelors and Masters degrees in music education from Oregon State University where she studied conducting with David Hoffman and trumpet from Jay Chen. She is a big OSU Beaver Fan! She enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband Lewis, and children Billy and James.
