| I have been fortunate enough to have worked at Shahala since it opened in the fall of 2001. I began as a Technology Coordinator and ran the computer labs, which I enjoyed very much. I received my Masters In Teaching during this time as well. I became the Technology In Education teacher here in the fall of 2005. The diverse, hands on program challenges students thinking and creativity as they get to experience many types of software based tools such as web design, bridge engineering, game design, animation, robotics, 3D art, video game design, video editing as well as Microsoft Office applications and keyboarding skills. Students are expected to work hard, have a positive attitude and show respect for others at all times. We are looking forward to enjoying our 30 new Dell computers this year! |
