Need a way to motivate yourself to good grades?

Do you need a way to motivate yourself to get better grades??? Perhaps the

information below will serve as your carrot.

For the third year in a row, The Dick Hannah Dealerships are offering a new car or a

check for $15,000 to one Clark County high school student for achieving a boost in

his/her grades. Students must increase second-semester GPA’s over firstsemester’s

GPA by a mere half-a-point or maintain an average 3.5 GPA for the school

year. Someone with a “D” average the first semester can raise it to a “D+” and win a

car!

While thousands of students were eligible to win in years past, less than 200 students

entered in the first year, and just under 500 last year. Those are GREAT odds of

winning! The first year winner was a freshman from Skyview and last year's winner was

a just-graduated senior at Camas. It's open to all.) We would like this year's winner to

come from Evergreen High School! Evergreen is currently leading the pack with entries
