On February 14, Evergreen Public Schools will begin a "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) system, which will allow students to use their own personal laptops, tablets, or other electronic devices at school for educational purposes.
While we are very excited about the educational possibilities of students having more access to resources, there are some caveats which must be addressed. Please see the attached school district policies and procedures. Students are responsible for knowing all school district policies if they are to utilize the BYOD system.
Parents may opt out of allowing their students to bring or use their own devices at school. Please read the attached parent letter and permission refusal forms for more information.
Please also note that neither Evergreen Public Schools nor Heritage High School are responsible for lost or stolen electronic devices. Students bring these at their own risk. They should NEVER leave devices unattended or in classrooms.
